We're heading off to Eugene this weekend for Easter, and I'm getting excited to get out of town! We can't wait to see you all!

Well, so much for getting to post more often!
I am now bogged down in another term of classes, and have taken on several additional projects, most recently costuming a play that will run in August.
Isa and Robbie went to Eugene last weekend to hit the library book sale, bringing back some great finds. Robbie also ran into several old friends and people from last years booksale line. In fact, one of the old Eugene mom friends he ran into will be in Portland this weekend to see the "Wiggles" and invited Robbie and Isa!
We're looking forward to Easter weekend, and would be happy to help you carpool Adam! Love to all

Well, I have some computer classes this term so I may be able to post more often!
Even though it has been wet and soggy we got some veggies planted in the garden this past week. I'm looking forward to a summer of fresh food.
Isa continues to blow our minds with her writing. She is now sounding out words and determining the letters she needs to write. currently she is interested in dinosaurs, as is evident by the pile of related books she and Robbie came home from the library with.
Robbie's classes for next year are filling up. His MWF class is already filled (before open enrollment has even started) with ALL girls! One of the most difficult parents that the center has ever known told him that although her kids got accepted into a very prestigous program she was keeping them at Hillside so they would be in his class! Wow!

Well, classes are now in full swing, as our lives return to a normal routine. I have a few classes this term that are going to suck a lot of my time up. Sigh...
We attended a Mass for the Pope last night. We sat up in the balcony of the church and Isa was thrilled to feel the vibrations of the organ in the walls.
Robbie has been wonderful about taking care of the house lately, getting dishes, laundary and all those mundane tasks done while my back heals from sunburn. (Unfortunatly I now have small blisters forming which make sitting through classes , and wearing clothes in general, uncomfortable.)
Our thoughts continue to go out to Ray, and all of Jamie's family. Please, please let us know if we can do anything.
At some point here the fam should coordinate Russian Easter plans. I think Mom said it was on the first of May this year. Any ideas?

We made it back from FL last night safe and sound, although quite tired and sunburned. Robbie and Isa are off to church this morning while the thought of clothes on my back sounds painful! Instead I'm catching up with e-mail and getting ready for my new classes tomorrow.
Our apartment is starting to take shape, as Robbie got some pictures up over the week.
Thanks Adam for the wonderful picture of Kai, Chris and their little girl.
Although there are few Catholics in our family I wanted to send prayers to all of them with the death of the Pope. Even if I am not in agreement with all of the church's teachings, it is amazing to see a man who never faultered in his faith and beliefs! If only we could all stay so constant.
Love to all!
