DeliverLetter
- My old friend Josura has asked me to meet with Thistle and secure passage to Eureka.
From there, I will need to make your way to the encampent of the Red Shields and deliver
a message to Captain Preth. First things first, Thistle is known to frequent
the Thirsty Thunder Beast. Perhaps I should search there.
- It appears that departing to Eureka with Thistle will be more difficult than I thought.
A man named Bryt accuses Thistle of stealing his fiancee's ring. Tinna, the owner of the ring,
claims a halfling or small man is responsible. Perhaps some of the other inhabitants of the
town would know of this theft.
- Now that the matter of the stolen ring has been settled, Thistle has agreed to take
me to Eureka. From there, I must make your way over the Trielta Hills to Captain Preth's
encampment in the Forest of Wyrms.
- It appears that the pass over the Trielta Hills has been overrun by Zhentarim. In order
to reach Captain Preth, I must find another way across.
- Captain Preth has indicated that a strange messenger has been delivering orders
to hold the Zhentarim at all costs. This is in contrast to the latest message by Josura
to fall back. Suspicions have turned to a messenger, who disappeared to north last night.
Preth has asked me to investigate the matter.
- It appears that Shrak was the false messenger, pitting the two opposing armies in
an attept to create fresh bodies for some dark purpose. The trail leads to Hill's Edge,
where I may find further answers. Until then, I must show this letter to Captain Preth
and make your way back to Scornubel to alert Josura and procure transportation.
LovePhyltre
- Preszmyr's assistant accidentally sold a love phyltre to a woman named Anna who works at Ehaevaer's Beauty Rooms.
He has promised a reward if you retrieve it, so I'm off to pay Anna a visit.
- Anna does indeed have the potion, but refuses to return it. Evidently, she's in love with Presephor,
who works at the Thirsty Thunder Beast.
- It turns out Presephor has feelings for Anna as well. If I can convince her that the potion is no longer
needed, she'll be willing to hand it over.
- I've returned the potion to Preszmyr, who was quite generous with his reward.
Noodle
- Gorn at the Thirsty Thunder Beast has been raising Fire Beetles for Fistoon, the noodle vendor. He has asked
me to clear them out, as they've been causing him trouble.
- I've killed the Fire Beetles, and collected my reward. Still, there appears to be more to this story. Why
did Fistoon ask Gorn to keep them in the first place?
- Private Vilakon has suggested that proof of Kessler's guilt may be found at his home. The way he said
it suggested that he would be willing to look the other way as long as I brought back the evidence to him.
- The recipe I found proves Fistoon's guilt. Vilakon seemed quite pleased with my discovery.
Locket
- A girl named Reela has lost her locket and asked me to find it.
- I have returned the girl's locket, though thanks were her only gift in return.
