I spent last weekend in Meadville helping Dorothy celebrate her 89th birthday. If she would only act her age, the rest of us might be a bit more reverant! She's as busy and involved as ever and lucky for me most of her friends are too. I planned a birthday dinner and brought all the ingredients, but forgot that there were plans for practically every meal every day I was there. First a luncheon at the Iroquois club on Friday and then a Derby party and birthday dinner on Saturday. We squeezed in my birthday fruit tarts for Saturday lunch and the stuffed pork loin at noon on Sunday before I hit the road. A lovely weekend weather-wise and great way to start to the 90th year!
