We have had a great Christmas here in Rochester

 We have had a great Christmas here in Rochester. Everyone got lots of presents in spite of the fact that Danica had said it would be scaled down this year with everyone out of work.
Too much food as usual but very good – lots of cookies and fruitcake we had made earlier.
I seemed to have gone to more open houses this year than ever. Everyone at Wesbury has been wonderful to me and I am having an afternoon tea and snacks for some of them on Friday. Our old New Years Eve crowd will go to the Country Club for lunch! No more roaring around all night in our old age. Jed's Mom and Sam have arrived in my neighborhood. I don't know how they will like it after being so long in Arizona. We have had very warm and clear weather. Glad you got to see some snow.

My sister and I just returned from a lovely trip to Barbados.We had an efficiency where we could have breakfast and lunch if we chose. Great view of two of three pools and the ocean from our balcony. It was 85 degrees - really too hot for Caroline who is used to the Northwest. Had several trips around the island, lovely flower gardens, good food, some interesting dancers, etc.
I'm now getting ready to go to Florida to visit my friends there. I get blamed for the terrible winter here as it is the first in l8 years that I have spent in PA.

I had Christmas in Rochester with Danica and family. It was fun. Haven't heard whether you all liked the things I sent - maybe not. We are having alot of cold and snow - I knew this would happen when I'm here most of the winter. I had a fall in my garage last week - spent time in X-ray and Dr. No fracture, but a hematoma. Also am in process of getting two teeth crowned. I hope that is the end of my disintigrating! Getting ready to go to Barbados in Feb for 10 days - with my sister.
