Sam, if you would like to do some serious riding you can come and visit us on our farm. We have a Paso Fino mare that is a very spirited riding horse. Patrick rides her in our fields everynight. Its great for developing balance and is definitely a work out. Plus you learn all about caring for an animal and her tack (that's her saddle, bridle and riding equipement) I'll send some pictures to your dad. Have a great summer and I'm looking forward to the new Harry Potter book too!

Patrick and I, met up with Meg, Dick and Mikayla in Oberlin, Ohio on Saturday. We had a brief lunch before Dick and Mikayla hustled off to do end of year school things. Meg, Patrick and moi drove into Cleveland to get the lay of the land and see some of the sites, returning to check out Mikayla's dorm room and head home as we had left Will at a job for the day.
It was the typical lush green Northern Ohio spring day and it was really nice to get together with family. Take care of each other and much love, P.

Invisible Ink???? I can understand the lager and the Chinese Finger Torture Device (have a couple of those myself) but Invisible Ink?!
Meg, difference in time and distance, so don't tell this one to Mikayla, but my freshman year at Chatham I came down with the flu. The school nurse wanted to put me in the hospital because I hadn't been able to hold down food or water for 3 days. Somehow at about 9p.m. Dad came into my dorm room, scooped me up in his arms, carried me down to the old blue Suburban and took me home to Mom who nursed me back to health. He had to have worked all day at some job, got home after probably a long drive and found Mom worried about me and turned around and drove into Pittsburgh to get me.
I have the picture of them together at the beach (The Dump in White pic) at the bottom of my computer screen on my desk here at the office and I miss them and their unconditional love.

Happy Valentines day belated. It seems so novel to see Sam in in Polar Fleece and hear about spreading bark-o-mulch when we are buried under snow and ice. It was -11 this morning. Course you had it earlier this winter. In any event stay warm, keep happy and post often....
